FISH REPORT--

The boat is now accessible at www.facebook.com/mikereinsch.

Effective June 1st, our ticket prices will be: $60 full fare, $55 seniors weekdays and $39 child/active duty military thank you.

For the week of Saturday, June 20th, thru Friday, June 26th, we caught 104 bocaccio, 84 reds, 781 rockfish, 2 lingcod, 48 sculpin, 2 petrale sole, 1 sheephead, 6 calico bass, and 1 sandbass.

The whopper is a speckled rockfish weighing around 2 lbs caught by Judy. She used a creative method to lure her fish to the hook: she pinned four tiny pelagic red crab legs onto the hook and lowered it down to the proper depth, about thirty feet off the bottom.

The red crab bait had been regurgitated by a rockfish caught earlier. Judy didn't have to wait very long for her whopper "belinda" to take the crab leg bait!

We are taking kids fishing on Wednesdays during June and July, and these youth trips have been filled by the sponsoring group, the Marina del Rey Anglers. Contact Captain Mike first if you are considering a Wednesday visit.
